A few of you knew and a couple of you guessed, I was taken out by a cage last July.
Spent a few days in ICU, the ST4 was totaled and I was a bit broken.
I can't say enough good things about my Rev-It riding gear and my Arai helmet.
Our counselor, Bob Pave, was kind enough (after going to the Beemer side) to sell me his ST4S-ABS.
I spent the winter going through the bike, replacing hardware, rewiring "stuff", in general making it "MY" bike.
I just spent the weekend in Carmel at the Quail Motorcycle Gathering. My what a fun collection of bikes.
They even put my ST4S on display, the only ST4S there!
Saw a couple of the Chico Phils (Chris and Jeff) there who were able to pry me out of the golf course bar for a great dinner and companionship.
Not to mention a vintage beer (2001 Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale) that had aged to a fantastic flavor.
Why do I think I'm back?
I rode 1027 miles this weekend!
Yippee!
Now to try to convince my management to reschedule the up coming project to make Madness (I wish).
