eaglerider.com in Santa Monica (about 1.5 hours south of Santa Barbara) rents Kawi Concours, KTM 990s for about $130/day.

racyrentals.com in LA rents Ducs, Triumphs etc and they have some 'deals' going on.

What's your definition of obscene prices?
