If anyone has a line on someplace/someone to rent a bike for 4 or 5 days at a reasonable rate, I'd appreciate the info. The bike does not hafta be a Duc. Just road-worthy (and maybe not Harley). I may also travel to Vegas the following week. Same inquiry re: reasonable rental rates in that crazy town.

Thanks for the comeback, Huss. 'Obscene' to me is paying more for an ordinary road-worthy bike for the day than I would be paying to stay at a fairly nice hotel/motel. Sometimes just from word-of-mouth you can find a small bike repair shop that may have some loaners or such hanging around that they will rent out at a discount for a 4 or 5-day stint. Generally, those types of operations don't advertise as bike rental shops. I guess I'm looking for someone who is aware of an operation similar to that in the Santa Barbara area. I hooked up with something like that out of Santa Barbara for the Laughlin Run quite a few years ago. The folks who rented to me are no longer around. Are you from the left coast Huss?
