[DucatiST] swing arm needle bearing and seal

Finally getting around to upgrading my swing arm to the aluminum style on my ST2. After removing the old swing arm I noticed that the chain side swing arm bearing seal was all smashed and chewed up. It is a flat metal ring with a rubber inside that rests against the bearing. The outer most needle bearing on the same side seems to have some stiction in it. Its not real bad, but its such a PITA to remove the swing arm, I may as well do it now if at all possible. At the very least I def. need a new seal.

Has anyone replaced these bearings or seals? The manual says nothing about how to remove them, and the parts manual shows a snap ring on the inside of the engine holding the two bearings in place. I hate to start hammering them out with a punch; only to find out that I am hitting the snap ring and not the race of the inner bearing.

Anyone bought these things locally? I am curios if I have to special order them and wait forever.

Thanks,

Nate
