Re: [DucatiST] Re: It's intercom time, but which?

Hey Nick, thanks for the info. Maybe I got lucky. This fellow just made the mold at the show. Then sends if off to the high tech
earplug factory where they are making mine to work with a timber jack skidder range of noise. Let's hope they work. ;)
Hope all is well in PA. We just had some Brits stop by for several days finally had to put them in a row boat and point them back
across the big pond. ;) Great friends actually and I met them through the web. :) Best,

Robert, Old Chap; be warned that there are custom-fit earplug makers and custom-fit earplug makers... I had some made at a show, and they were deliberately massive, filling my outer ear too, which actually tracked more noise down into my ear canal than tiny internal ones. Plus the 'instant' custom earplugs are made with the stuff that more-professional audiologists only use for making impressions, and they won't last as long as pukka medical silicone products made in a two-stage process. Whatever, custom earplugs will likely always do a better job than foamies, especially if you have narrow ear canals...
