[DucatiST] Re: Spyball security alarm fault.

 

Does sound like a fob battery issue, but if replacing batteries doesn't work are you near any strong radio transmissions (from a mobile mast for example)? It's a long shot, but given that it's the radio code that's failing (as the manual disarm works) interference could be an issue. I had similar with a datatool alarm on the Puy de Dome a few years back - simply couldn't disarm the immobiliser with the fob.

Another thing I'd try would be to get the bike running and ride it around a bit just to give any internal spyball battery a chance to burst back into life - again a long shot.

A workaround for getting fuel would be to use the kill switch, not the key, when refueling.
