I've been using a TomTom Rider 2 for a few years. Works well in bright light, touch screen works nicely with gloves, bluetooth to headset works nicely - just a nice unit. Pairs well with my Nokia. I've been meaning to buy the car mount kit but just never got around to it. I've made a custom Ram ball mount out of stainless sheet for the cover plate on the front of the tank so the unit is out of the way of the handlebars. I've used it in torrential rain and it's remained waterproof.
Cheers
Justin

You can even change the little motorcycle icon to a car if you want. And I can see mine just fine on the bike in daylight. Unless I'm wearing a fluorescent yellow vest and the sun is shining directly on that, then the reflection on the screen can make it a little bit hard to see.

Do the "motorcycle grade" Zumo series units really overcome this problem? Any insight would be appreciated as i'm getting ready to pull the trigger.
