I only know of one time that the fan came on . That was in South Florida in traffic waiting on a draw bridge.

I owned a 1998 ST2 for seven years and I'm not sure if the fan EVER turned on with that bike. It was very rare for the temperature to go above 200 degrees.
Are you sure you even need a fan?
