The instructions that came with the kit were horrible. There are times when
I am glad that I am a mechanical engineer and can see how things work!
Getting past all that, it wasn't so bad I the end. The biggest problem was
deciding which bracket went on which side of the bike and how the little
triangular sub brackets went.
Oh yes, if you have the extra large rear fender, you will have to trim it to
get it to fit with the new brackets. (Cut a bit, try it, cut a bit more, try
it again... repeat)
If you need help, I can take a few pictures of mine.

My top case and rack arrived from Grenoble last Thursday. The 46 litre
case is a Givi V46, but has only Ducati Performance marked on it. I am
pleased that I can get 2 helmets into it, although I can't get any
random pair of my helmets into it, only pairs that don't include a
Schuberth C2. I haven't got the rack onto the ST yet, but the somewhat
illegible installation instructions show it attaching together with a
standard side rack. The rack is sold for ST2/3/4, but I haven't found
any reason yet why it shouldn't fit an ST4s. I guess that the rack and
box were packaged before the ST4s had appeared.
