In which case I'm going to be in big trouble when I get the ST4 back on the road this month, especially since I've been out with another Eyetalian in the meantime! Of course, I've given her admiring looks and the occasional caress and straddled her, but it may not be enough....

[DucatiST] Bearing removal tool

I am working on replacing the bearings in my 04 ST3 (33,500 miles). The front left started to grind, so I decided to get a set of 4 for the front and rear.
I was able to remove the front bearings with a brass punch, but I cannot get and purchase on the rear wheel since it is deeper and doesn't seem to have as much space between the spacer and the bearing (could just be that the front bearing on the one side was messed up enough to give more space).

Either way, I need a tool that can remove the rear wheel bearings so that I can replace them. The Notch in the spacer seems promising, and I saw the diagram of a tool that LT made in his book for removing the bearings, but I was hoping to get some ideas for how to go about manufacturing it.

Do I just need to find a really long punch (drift) with a small point?

The shop manual just shows a drift, and doesn't mention the notch even as far as I can see.

Any help would be appreciated,

-Richard Goforth

[Sports-Music_Programming] T. Powell Sports Music

I was looking around on YouTube and I found this artist named T. Powell and he specializes in sports/motivational music. I hadn't heard of him before, so I'm not sure how long he has been doing this. He has some really good squeaky clean rap music that is geared towards sports. What I've heard so far, is all pretty generic, so it could be used for various sports.

Just thought I would share with the group. Here is his web site:

[MotorCityFreecycle] Wanted: Power Wheels and other brand ride on vehicles (Redford)

I am looking for power wheels or any brand battery powered ride on electric cars, jeeps and scooters. They can be broken or faded. I try to donate the ones I get working, I recycle any parts that may still be good on them. I just do this as a hobby and enjoy working on them. If you have one taking up space collecting dust in the garage or leaves in the yard send me an email and I will come pick it up.

Thank You

Re: [DucatiST] St4s doesn't start, then fixed! Possible neutral switch? Spiders?..

I have had a connection to the starter relay near the battery become loose and cause intermittent no-start. Something for you to check.
